Users will be able to edit the color and graphic of the origin while field logging.
e.g: Editing the default rock origin.
- By default, the apply color and graphic is turned off due to the fact that the logs follow what is applied on the log settings. However, users may edit it while adding a subsurface profile.
- Users will be able to choose the color and transparency once the placeholder has been pressed.
- Users must toggle on the Apply Colour to the PDF Logs to apply it on logs.
- Users will be able to choose specific graphics when Origin Override Graphic is toggled.
- Users may choose or search for specific graphics which are provided by TabLogs.
NOTE: Editing the origin color and graphic will not overwrite the selected color and graphic on the Log Settings page.
When the user adds a new origin, the default will be shown like this:
- Users must input the origin type and name.
- User can toggle the apply color to the pdf logs if they want to change the specific color for the origin and change the graphic by toggling the origin override graphic.
Users can also select the soil color description when adding a subsurface profile.
- After clicking the "Select Color" button, user will see a set of colors commonly used in TabLogs.
- Users may use words such as "With" "And" and "Mottled"
- To use the words, users may click on color first then click on the word or vice versa to get the specific description.

NOTE: Users must remember to save the selected color. The color feature is not autosaved.
- Users may add color if the specified color is not on the list.
- Users may use hex color codes to obtain the accurate color for the soil.
- Users may name it based on their preferences.
- Users may set the text color to be easily visible to the eye when choosing on the list.
- After saving the new color, it will be reflected on the list immediately.
