Customize the Report

This feature allows users to personalize the appearance of the fence diagram report:

  • Spread your fence diagram over multiple pages.
  • Interactively resize and position your diagram.
  • Configure the layout of borehole sticks.
  • Add maps and site plans to your diagram.

Here's how you can customize various elements:

  1. Page Customization
    1. Multi-Page Layout: Spread your fence diagram over multiple pages to ensure detailed representation.
With this feature, you can customize the "Meters per Page" or "Feet per Page" settings. This setting controls the scale of the distance displayed on each page or section of your screen. It specifies how many meters (or feet) are represented within a unit of page or screen space. Adjusting this value allows you to fit the data within the available display area, making it easier to view and analyze detailed changes over a specified range.

You also can set maximum and minimum elevations. These values set the boundaries for the displayed elevation data. Adjusting these values changes the vertical range of the data presented but does not affect the scaling factor of meters or feet per page.
    2. Page Size and Orientation: Adjust the page size and orientation to fit your project requirements.
    3. Page Border and Page Number : Add page border and Page Number to your Fence Diagram.

  2. Template Customization
    1. Select Templates: Choose from a variety of templates to set the overall layout and style of your report.
    2. Save Custom Templates: Save your customized template settings for future use.
  3. Axis Customization
    1. Grid : Customizing the grid enhances the clarity of your data presentation by allowing adjustments to the color, line width, distance Grid spacing and spacing of the elevation grid. Additionally, you can choose to show the depth grid and distance grid as needed.

    2. Elevation Labels : Elevation labels are markers on your fence diagram that display the height or depth of specific points. Customizing these labels includes adjusting their color, font size, font weight, and the option to display the elevation onset.
    3. Elevation Offset : In our system, the generated elevation data might not always match the expected user input. Use the elevation offset feature to correct discrepancies between generated and inputted elevations by applying a uniform offset to align the data.
If you change the elevation offset, the maximum and minimum elevations will adjust uniformly according to the new offset value. However, if you directly modify the maximum and minimum elevation values (e.g., through user input), this will not change the elevation offset. Instead, it simply adjusts the range of elevations displayed in the data.

    4. Section Lines : Section lines are lines drawn across your fence diagram to separate and define different areas above or below ground fill. Customizing these lines involves adjusting their color and width, as well as choosing whether to display areas above or below ground fill.

    5. Fence Page Title : The fence page title is the main heading for a page in your fence diagram. Customize it by entering the title in the provided text box.

We also use a dynamic string builder for text input to efficiently manage and manipulate input elements without the need to manually write each one. This tool is particularly valuable when input data needs to be dynamically generated or adjusted based on predefined parameters.

  4. Borehole Stick Customization
    1. Manage Stick : Set how boreholes are display on the section diagram including how the subsurface layers are grouped.

    2. Manage Borehole Stick Edges : Customize the top, left, right, and bottom edges of the borehole stick. This allows you to adjust the appearance and layout of the borehole stick by modifying each side individually to better fit your diagram's needs and the type of chart you want to display.

  5. Text Customization
    1. Text Boxes and Table: Add and edit text boxes to provide additional information or annotations.
    2. Add Soil Classification table to your fence diagram : You can drag a Soil Classification table into your fence diagram to provide detailed soil information based on your subsurface information. The graphic image will automatically update to reflect changes in soil origin and any updates to soil graphics in the log settings.

  6. Drawing Customization
    1. Drawing Tools: Use drawing tools to add shapes, lines, and other annotations to your diagram.
    2. Edit Drawings: Modify existing drawings to ensure they align with your diagram's requirements.
  7. Element Customization
    1. Interactive Elements: Add and manage interactive elements such as legends, markers, and labels.
    2. Element Positioning: Interactively resize and position elements to fit your diagram layout.
  8. Upload Customization
    1. Add Images: Upload images, such as site photos and field documentation to enhance your report. Images are fetched dynamically based on uploaded images for each log. Users can either drag and drop images or select them manually for upload.

  9. Layer Customization
    1. Layer Management: Add, remove, edit and organize layers to control the visibility and order of different elements.Fence Diagram -Layers-1
    2. When a user selects an image, additional configuration options will appear in the bottom section. The available configurations vary depending on the selected layer.
