Subsurfaces: Classification Code Builder
TabLogs Classification Code Builder allows you to apply a Name, Graphic and Code to a set of conditions from a workflow. This is similar to the description builder, however we allow you increased control over the most important part of your description.
We always recommend you start with a pre existing configuration and then edit your classification codes from there. This will make the learning curve much simpler.
It is important to note you can use the same abbreviation multiple times and apply different Names / Graphics to it. For Example you may want to create two unique codes both using CH abbreviation for Fat Clay with Gravel & Fat Clay with Sand
The elements in a classification code are:
Name
Abbreviation
Graphic
Classification Rules
The rule engine allows applying groups of rules with a true result having the classification code applied. If multiple codes have all true conditions the most recently added will be true, for this reason it is important to also include "does not equal" statements.
The options for how rules are applied are:
AND: all conditions inside the box must be true
OR: any condition inside the box is true
The types of rules applied are:
Equals only one of
Equals one or more of
Equals all of
Doesn't equal any of
Is Null
Users may download the original graphics and edit the color by themselves then re-upload it to the library.
Users may also add unique graphic codes if applicable to easily identify each classification or graphic easily.
e.g:
NOTE: Once the changes are saved, the settings will also be reflected on the log report PDFs.
NOTE: User must toggle on the "Apply colour to the PDF logs" feature to be able to use it.
