Subsurfaces

TabLogs has a set of dynamic workflows to help you create your subsurface data in logs



Once users access the subsurface contents in the logging page, a side panel will appear for the user to select on.

Origin: Fill, Natural, Alluvial, Residual, Rock, Non-Soil, origin, original
If rock is selected, rock type selection will appear.
Rock types: Sandstone, Siltstone, Phyllite, Basalt, Greywacke, Argillite, Concrete, Breccia, Chert, Coal, Conglomerate, Gneiss, Granite, Rhyolite, Ruff, Asphalt
If Soil is selected, Soil type selection will appear.
Soil types: Gravel, Sand, Clay, Silt, Peat
If non-soil is selected, Non-soil type will appear.
Non-soil types: Concrete, Pavers, Subbase Course
Identifier: Clayey, Silty, Sandy, Gravelly, None
If clayey is selected, plasticity will appear.
Clay Plasticity: Low, Medium, High
If sandy or gravel is selected, grain size will appear.
Sand/Gravel Grain Size: Fine, Medium, Coarse
If clay is selected, stiffness will appear.
Stiffness: Very Soft, Soft, Firm, Stiff, Very Stiff, Hard, Friable
If peat is selected, degree of decomposition will appear.
Degree of decomposition: Fibrous, Pseudo-fibrous, Amorphous
Weathering/Alteration: Extremely, Distinctly, Highly, Moderately, Slightly, Fresh
Strength: Very Low, Low, Medium, High, Very High, Extremely High
Fabric: Distinct or Indistinct
Content: Organic or Inorganic
Density: Very Loose, Loose, Medium Dense, Dense, Very Dense
Plasticity: Non-Plastic, Low, Medium, High
Color: You can combine or customize the color you need to input using our TabLogs selector



Moisture: Wet, Moist, Slightly Moist, Dry
Notes: User can also add notes for specific profile.
